MK Surveys were recently commissioned to produce a 3D model and detailed 2D drawings of a listed staircase in Queen Anne’s Gate, City of Westminster. One of the planning conditions imposed on our client was that they had to reinstate a listed staircase that had been removed from their property years before. Fortunately similar examples still existed within the neighbouring properties. Hence MK Surveys were commissioned to record one of these examples using 3D laser scanning technology with a 3D model created that could then be used by the joiners and staircase manufacturers.
